  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment
  • Operate machines to join sections of garments or other articles into finished products on a piece-work or production basis
  • Operate sewing machines or sew by hand
  • Set in sleeves, pockets, collars and other garment pieces

Equipment and machinery experience

  • Button holer or button sewer
  • Double needle machine
  • Fusing machine
  • Hemmer or blindstitcher
  • Multi-needle machine
  • Profile stitcher or pocket machine
  • Serger or overlock
  • Single needle machine

Sewing experience

  • Garment section work
  • Piecework
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
