- Spread and dry marine plants
- Operate, maintain and clean pumps, filters and other aquaculture equipment
- Feed aquaculture stock
- Drive tank trucks or supply trucks
- Dig shellfish from shellfish beds
- Cull, mark or tag stock and report stock irregularities
- Clean, sort and pack shellfish
- Clean and maintain aquaculture enclosures
- Assist aquaculture technicians in the operation of fish hatcheries or other aquatic farms
- Grade and weigh aquaculture stocks
